2007 PSS Festival Event Rules

1.  Power Slope Scale - PSS Planes only! During the event hours of 12 noon till 6pm it will be PSS only. After 6 p.m. we will have two flying areas set up, one will be for combat the other for high speed rocket ships.

2.  To qualify as a PSS aircraft your plane must meet 2 requirements,
    1. It must be a model of a REAL powered aircraft.
    2. Your plane must look like the real plane. We will be pretty generous on this rule. But don't get ridiculous, a Ninja with decals is not a P-51. Your Zagi flying wing foamy is not a Northrop flying wing!

3.  To qualify for the awards, your plane must be able to fly. Flying is optional for additional Points. No hanger queens will be getting awards at this event. The emphasis is on SCALE. We will make allowances if the weather doesn't permit flight.
Documentation will be allowed this year. We recommend you bring original documentation of your subject. (Don't go crazy though - it is for fun!)

4.  Frequency hogging will not be tolerated! 20 minutes maximum, when you have the frequency pin. (If nobody is waiting  for the pin you will be able to continue flying.)

5.  There will be two Flying Zones, slower planes will fly on the west (or right side) and the faster planes will be flying to the left or east side of the ridge. The site is plenty big enough for the fast planes to stay away from the slower target drones.

6.  No Combat Flying During event hours.

7.  The CD is always right, and will have three real big helpers just to make sure he's right.

8.  You MUST have fun. No crybabies or whiners need enter!
